Poland delivers first Leopard tanks to Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced during his visit to Kyiv, Ukraine, on Feb. 24, 2023. “On the anniversary of Russia’s horrific attack on Ukraine, I came to Kyiv to give a clear message of continued support for Ukraine,” stated the Polish prime minister.

During the visit, Prime Minister Morawiecki, accompanied by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, honored the memory of the perished defenders of Ukraine. Also, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, he visited one of the Kyiv hospitals where wounded Ukrainian defenders are undergoing treatment.
