Poland sends ten more Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine

Ukraine received another ten Leopard 2 tanks from Poland, Minister of National Defence of Poland Mariusz Błaszczak said at a briefing on Mar. 9, 2023.

“We support Ukraine within the international coalition. In addition to 14 Polish Leopard tanks, this battalion also includes four tanks from Canada, eight tanks from Norway, and six from Spain,” said Błaszczak.

Poland handed over the first four of 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine on the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russia on Feb. 24, 2023.

Also, Błaszczak announced that Ukrainian troops completed their training on Leopard 2 tanks in Poland.
