Pope Francis receives bracelet made of “Azovstal” steel

Pope Francis was given lists of captured Mariupol defenders and received a bracelet made of steel from the Mariupol metallurgical plant, “Azovstal,” Mariupol City Council reported.

Pope Francis wore the bracelet in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. The pontiff also kissed the flag of Ukraine, thus expressing support for the country.
