Pottery made by Ukrainian artist of the 20th century stands still along with the “famous” kitchen cabinet after shelling in Borodianka

On the kitchen cabinet that remained mounted after the shelling of Borodianka, a ceramic rooster made by Ukrainian artist Prokip Bidasiuk was recognized.
Prokip Bidasiuk was born in 1895 and became famous thanks to his unusual works. His works are now stored in the Ukrainian Folk Decorative Art Museum in Kyiv.
“Our Vasylkiv Maiolica, a fragile work, made by sculptor Prokip Bidasiuk, has survived — and we also can!”, said journalist Oksana Danchenko.
The image of the kitchen cabinet in an apartment in Borodianka, Kyiv region, became viral on social media. Twitter users were quick to share the image and proudly proclaimed that, like the cabinet, Ukraine remained standing despite the efforts of the Russian military.
