Power supply is gradually being restored in Kherson after Russians destroyed the city’s energy infrastructure while retreating

Power supplies had been restored for 17% of household consumers in the recently liberated Kherson, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Yanushevych reported.

“Our light will never go out,” wrote Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, and shared a photo of the night city.

Kherson was left without power, water, and heating because Russian invaders destroyed the city’s energy infrastructure while retreating.

Kherson still suffers daily bombardment by Russian artillery, that’s why hundreds of people flee the city.
