President of Iceland meets with Ukrainian children
President of Iceland Guðni Jóhannesson has met with Ukrainian children, Ukrinform reports.
The children presented Iceland’s President with handicrafts as a token of gratitude for the support of the Icelandic people.
Children aged 8 to 15 came to Iceland due to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. All of them received temporary shelter in the western part of Reykjavík.
