President of Ukraine asked the Pope to condemn Russian crimes in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Pope Francis at the Vatican while visiting Italy. During the conversation, Zelenskyy handed the Pope a bulletproof vest used by a Ukrainian soldier that had an image of the Madonna painted on it.
“I asked to condemn Russian crimes in Ukraine. Because there can be no equality between the victim and the aggressor. I also talked about our Peace Formula as the only effective algorithm for achieving a just peace,” Zelenskyy wrote on Twitter. In addition, he thanked the Pope for his personal attention to the tragedy of millions of Ukrainians.
