President of Ukraine called on G7 leaders to impose price cap on Russian oil

“Ukraine feels the support of the G7 states. Thank you for your security and financial assistance to our country in the fight against the Russian invasion. The consistent position of the G7 countries on sanctions is also important to us,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The President stressed that sanctions should be further strengthened, especially by imposing a “price cap” on oil exported by the aggressor.
