President of Ukraine recieves the Oxi Courage award for his courageous leadership defending Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy won the Oxi Courage Award for his valiant leadership in Ukraine’s defense.
According to Ukrinform, the Oxi Day Foundation, a non-governmental group, declared this on Twitter.

“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepts the Oxi Courage award for his courageous leadership defending Ukraine… and for saying NO (Oxi) to terrorism and hate,” was said in his message.

The ceremony was held at the Peace Institute in Washington, DC.

The award was delivered by Jake Sullivan, the president’s national security adviser, and Oksana Markarova, Ukraine’s ambassador, accepted it on Zelensky’s behalf.
