Prosecutor-General confirms Russia’s use of cluster munitions in two regions

Prosecutor-General Iryna Venediktova has confirmed Russia’s use of banned cluster munitions in the Kherson and Odesa regions, while law enforcement officials in Kyiv are gathering evidence.

According to Venediktova: “I would not speak (about the use of banned weapons in Kyiv – ed.), until we have concrete evidence. But as far as other regions are concerned, we do have evidence.

We have evidence in the Odesa region, and in the Kherson region, where cluster munitions have been used”.
