“Putin brought the horrors of war back to Europe”

“Putin brought the horrors of war back to Europe,” stated President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on the Day of Remembrance for the victims of all totalitarian and authoritarian regimes.
The President said it is the reminder that peace cannot be taken for granted.
Ursula von der Leyen also promised to continue to support Ukraine.
“We will continue to stand with Ukraine, for as long as it takes. We will not rest, until you prevail,” noted the President of the European Commission.
