Putin closed the door to dialogue, diplomacy, and a minimum sense of common humanity

Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, stated that over several years Russia had moved away from the rest of Europe.

“Putin’s choices show to what extent he has closed the door to dialogue, diplomacy, and a minimum sense of common humanity. He is only taking his country ever more on the path of war, escalation, and isolation,” added Borrell.
