“Putin is operating from a position of weakness, not strength”

The Russian President’s call for an immediate partial mobilization of citizens reflects Russia’s problems on the battlefield, the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Twitter.

“President Putin’s call for additional Russian military forces in Ukraine reflects Russia’s struggles on the battlefield and the fact that President Putin is operating from a position of weakness, not strength,” he tweeted.
