Putin’s missile attack on the port of Odesa is a slap in the face to Guterres and Erdogan

The Russian attack on the port of Odesa, less than a day after the signing of the grain export agreement, is Vladimir Putin’s slap in the face of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as stated by Oleg Nikolenko, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Facebook.

Nikolenko stated that it took the Russian Federation less than 24 hours to launch a missile attack on the territory of the port of Odesa, calling into question the agreements and promises made to the UN and Turkey in the document signed on July 22, 2022, in Istanbul.

“The Russian missile is Vladimir Putin’s slap in the face to UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Erdogan, who worked tirelessly to reach an agreement and to whom Ukraine is grateful,” said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
