Real Madrid donated more than €1 million to Ukraine to mitigate the effects of the Russian invasion

The Spanish football club “Real Madrid” donated more than €1 million to help Ukraine.
“This contribution represented 1.2% of the total contribution of Cruz Roja, 25% of the contribution of CESAL, 30% of the contribution of Misiones Salesianas, and 88% of the contribution of Epicenter for Children, the Foundation’s on-the-ground partners, in this humanitarian emergency. The funds were destined both for food and medicines and for blankets, beds, and other basic requirements,” the statement by Real Madrid Foundation reads.
