Red Cross warehouse with humanitarian aid in Odesa destroyed by Russian attack

On May 8, 2023, a Russian missile attack destroyed a Red Cross 1000 square-meter warehouse in Odesa. “The provision of humanitarian aid and the activities of some projects of the Odesa Regional Organization of the Red Cross of Ukraine have been suspended,” the branch’s statement reads.
Overall, Russia launched eight cruise missiles at the Odesa region overnight, ruining a recreation center in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district. At least five neighboring bases and more than 20 private residencies were damaged. As a result of the attack on Odesa region, one person was killed.
