Residents of Hola Prystan held a rally, demanding occupiers return the abducted mayor
The community residents of Hola Prystan, Kherson region, have held a peaceful rally.
People demanded that the Russian forces return the town mayor Oleksandr Babich and other locals they have abducted.
The rally took place on the square in front of the city council building. It was addressed by representatives of the city council, activists, and residents of Hola Prystan.
“Freedom for the mayor!”, “Freedom for the prisoners!”, “Hola Prystan is Ukraine!”, “Kherson region is Ukraine!” chanted those present at the rally. They urged their fellow residents not to be afraid and to say “no” to the invaders.
At the end of the rally, they sang the Ukrainian national anthem and the anthem of Hola Prystan.
