Resumption of operation of Ukrainian enterprises has slowed down in May 2022

The rapid pace of restoration of the work of Ukrainian enterprises, recorded in late March-April 2022, decreased significantly in May 2022, which may indicate some stabilization of the wartime economy, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Serhii Nikolaichuk has said.

Nikolaichuk said that there are certain problems associated with the operation of infrastructure, primarily transport, which hindered further recovery.

According to him, in particular, the shortage of petroleum products reduces mobility in the country, which also slows down economic recovery.
