Richard Gere auctioned a rare car to help Ukrainians

A famous American actor put up his 1999 Jaguar XK8 convertible for sale to help Ukrainians affected by the war with Russia, said on the Bring a Trailer auction website.

The total sale amount, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will be split evenly between the World Central Kitchen and Open Arms Ukraine. Both funds are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that provide resources to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
