Rocker Mark Almond recorded a Ukrainian song ‘Moonlit Night’ to raise funds for refugees

British rocker Mark Almond has recorded an English version of the Ukrainian song ‘A Moonlit Night/Nich Yaka Mіsyachna’. This song was written in the 19th century by the eminent writer Mykhailo Starytsky and composed by Mykola Lysenko. “It’s a song that Ukrainians know from childhood, and already it is posted online as a song dedicated to brave Ukrainians,” said Almond in the statement on his website.

Mark Almond offers to buy a song for £5 to raise money for Ukrainian refugees. All money goes to the Disaster Emergency Committee Ukrainian Humanitarian fund to help the displaced and suffering.
