Russia caused more than $216 billion in environmental damage to Ukraine

Russia caused more than $216 billion worth of environmental damage to Ukraine, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine reported. The damage includes pollution of land, air and water, burnt forests and destroyed natural resources. Seven methods developed by the State Environmental Inspection and the State Geology and Subsoil Service are used in damage assessment.
