Russia drafting persons with disabilities into invasion force — Security Service of Ukraine

Ukrainian defenders are apparently inflicting such massive losses on Russian invaders that their commanders have resorted to conscripting men with various disabilities to replenish their army ranks.

It is reported by the Security Service of Ukraine via the agency’s Telegram. There is a video of captured invaders with disabilities who said that they had been drafted by the Russians in the occupied parts of Donbas.

The Russians are enlisting “everyone they manage to catch.”

Speaking of his particular case, the prisoner of war said he had lost his sight in one eye back in childhood, and that played no role in the Russian commanders’ decision to enlist him.
