Russia fired 18 cruise missiles on Ukraine on November 17, 2022

On the morning of November 17, 2022, Russia launched a new attack on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. As the Air Force Spokesman Yurii Ignat reported, Russian invaders fired 18 cruise missiles and 5 Shahed-136 kamikaze drones over Ukraine.
- In Kyiv, four Russian missiles and five Shahed drones were shot down, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
- In Dnipro, Russian missiles hit two districts of the city. As reported by the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, the missiles damaged an industrial enterprise, houses, trolleybuses, and a busy street. As a result of the attack, 23 people were injured, and 15 of them were taken to hospital.
- In Odesa, a missile hit a critical infrastructure object. The blast wave damaged buildings of nearby enterprises. According to the Odesa City Council, one civilian got injured. Also, Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down six missiles over Odesa region.
- In the Izium district, Kharkiv region, critical infrastructure was also hit with Russian missiles. The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported three people injured.
