Russia has damaged 40% of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure

Russian attacks have “seriously damaged” about 40% of Ukraine’s entire energy infrastructure, as reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

During the meeting with EU Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that the damaged infrastructure includes “thermal power plants, combined heat and power plants, and hydroelectric power plants.”
