Russia has destroyed and damaged 353 objects of cultural heritage, most of them in the Kharkiv region

According to the information from the Minister of Culture and Information Policy, Oleksandr Tkachenko, in just the past few days, Russian troops have fired rockets at the recently restored House of Culture in Lozova, Kharkiv region; destroyed a school in Donetsk, previously rebuilt with the help of the Japanese government; destroyed a hermitage in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in Donetsk region.
“We record the destructions almost every day. We have already fixed 353 crimes against our cultural heritage. Constant shelling, rockets, and bombings have destroyed 21 monuments of national significance, 88 of local significance, and 7 newly-discovered cultural heritage sites. We are already working with international partners on a plan to restore our cultural heritage.”
