“Russia has shamelessly violated the core tenets of the United Nations charter”

In his address to the UN General Assembly on September 21, 2022, President of the United States Joe Biden slammed Russia for violating the UN charter, reports CNN.

“Let us speak plainly. A permanent member of the United Nations Security Council invaded its neighbor, attempted to erase the sovereign state from the map,” stated the American President.

Biden described the brutal and needless war in Ukraine as one that was “chosen by one man” — Vladimir Putin.

“Now Russia is calling up more soldiers to join the fight, and the Kremlin is organizing a sham referendum to try to annex parts of Ukraine — an extremely significant violation of the UN charter,” he added.
