Russia is expected to bear systemic responsibility for the deportation of Ukrainian children

An important step toward establishing the aggressor state’s systemic accountability for this atrocity is that the OSCE has begun work on an international report on Russia’s attempted assimilation and deportation of Ukrainian children. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyi in a video message on the 402nd day of the war.

“The OSCE has started work on the first independent international report, which will focus on Russia’s attempts to assimilate our children and its forced deportation of Ukrainian children. At the state level, Russia is systematically and purposefully committing it. There will be institutional responsibility for it as well. Russia’s responsibility as a state and everyone involved,” said the President.
