Russia plans to give Russian citizenship to Ukrainians in occupied parts of Kherson region, introduce the ruble

Russian invaders plan to return to Kherson region the coat of arms it had when being a part of the Russian Empire. They also want to give its residents the right to obtain Russian citizenship, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova reported.
In addition, in the occupied parts of the region, Russians are trying to introduce payments in rubles and restore rail connections with the temporarily occupied Crimea. Those who disagree with ‘accelerated integration’ are being tortured in basements. She noted that over 500 people are currently held in torture chambers.
In Kherson, Henichesk, and the village of Novooleksiivka, the occupation ‘administrations’ are also compiling lists of activists who took part in the civil blockade of Crimea in 2015 and served in the anti-terrorist operation. They go to these peopleʼs homes and take them out under the barrels of machine guns.
