Russia shelled the industrial zone of the Pivdennoukrainsk NPP

Russian troops shelled the industrial zone of the Pivdennoukrainsk Nuclear Power Plant in Mykolaiv region on September 19, 2022, stated the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

A missile fell 300 meters from the plant and damaged windows in the buildings on the territory near the NPP. There was a short-term power outage.

“The invaders wanted to shoot again, but they forgot what a nuclear power plant is. Russia endangers the whole world,” stated Zelenskyy.
