“Russia thinks that it can outlast Ukraine — and outlast us. But that’s just the latest in Russia’s string of miscalculations”

Lloyd Austin, United States Secretary of Defense, urged to strengthen the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the fourth meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, known as Rammstein-4.

“You know, this is a critical phase of the conflict. And so our collective support for Ukraine is vital — and urgent. Russia thinks that it can outlast Ukraine — and outlast us. But that’s just the latest in Russia’s string of miscalculations. We stand united in our support. We stand firm in our commitment. And we will rise to this occasion,” said Lloyd Austin during the meeting.

He praised the bravery and resilience of Ukrainians and assured of the full support for Ukraine in this brutal Russian aggression.
