Russia will not win this war. We will be with Ukraine and its people until peace returns to Europe.
On Feb. 23, 2023, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Kyiv and met with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Upon arrival, he also visited Irpin and Bucha, towns in the Kyiv region devastated by Russian forces.
“Bucha and Irpin show the wounds and scars of Putin’s barbarism. Russia will not win this war. All of Spain stands with Ukraine,” Sanchez said on Twitter.
“We will stand by Ukraine and its people until peace returns to Europe,” he tweeted earlier on his arrival.
