Russian academics may lose access to 97% of scientific information

Recently, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, wrote on his Telegram channel that Russia would lose any access to scientific information in the nearest future.

“Russia is going to face a scientific and information blockade. Legal access to the largest full-text collections of articles by Elsevier, Springer/Nature, IOP Publishers, and others, as well as to the Web of Science and Scopus databases will be terminated in Russia soon,” he added.
