Russian army turned Bakhmut into burnt ruins

The front-line situation remains very hard in the key areas of Donbas, as President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in his video address on December 9, 2022.

“Bakhmut, Soledar, Maryinka, Kreminna… For a long time, there’s no living place left in these areas that had not been damaged by shells and fire. The occupiers actually destroyed Bakhmut, another Donbas city that the Russian army turned into burnt ruins,” the Ukrainian President noted.
