Russian forces destroyed The National Literary and Memorial Museum of Hryhorii Skovoroda on the night of May 7, 2022

Hryhorii Skovoroda is the creator of Ukrainian philosophy, a poet, pedagogue, and educator of Ukraine in the 18th century, as well as a musician, singer, composer, and, most importantly, a true folk sage. Russian forces destroyed The National Literary and Memorial Museum of Hryhorii Skovoroda on the night of May 7, 2022. 500 episodes of Russian war crimes against Ukrainian cultural heritage have been already documented. Several dozen more cases are under review. The National Literary and Memorial Museum of Hryhorii Skovoroda is located in the village of Skovorodynivka, Kharkiv region. We’re talking about an 18th-century landmark: the estate where Hryhorii Skovoroda spent the last years of his life. Ukrainian philosopher and writer was buried near the mansion.
