Russian forces shelled Kharkiv with cluster munitions
On the morning of August 8, 2022, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv with cluster munitions. Over 20 projectiles remained unexploded, according to the Head of Criminal Investigations Division of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv Region, Serhii Bolvinov.
“This morning, Russians have shelled the Pavlove Pole area with the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Cluster munitions. One killed, one injured. Both civilians. Fortunately, over 22 projectiles remained unexploded,” Bolvinov wrote.
