Russian invaders confiscate Ukrainian books from libraries to demolish them

According to the Adviser to the Mariupol Mayor Petro Andriuschchenko, Russians in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine have begun to withdraw Ukrainian books with ‘extremist content’ from libraries, schools, and other book collections.
According to Andriushchenko, an ‘inventory’ of such books in Mariupol, as well as in Manhush and Nikolske, was carried out by employees of the Krupska Library in Donetsk. At the beginning of Ukraine’s independence [proclaimed in 1991 -ed.], the Krupska Library served as a center for the cultural development of young people and the fight against the heritage of the Soviet Union, the official said.
