Russian invaders stole a unique collection of Scythian gold of the 4th century BC from the Melitopol Museum of Local Lore
Russian soldiers seixed the Melitopol City Museum of Local Lore, which housed Scythian gold of the 4th century BC, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported.
According to Suspilne, the city administration and the museum staff hid a collection of Scythian gold back in February. But local collaborators helped Russian troops to find it. According to scientists, as a precious metal Scythian gold is not important, but as a historical artifact it is invaluable.
