Russian invaders stole almost 2,000 tons of grain and sunflower seeds from Zaporizhzhia region

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, Russians have stolen almost 2,000 tons of grain from enterprises in Zaporizhzhia region. Two criminal proceedings were opened regarding this situation.

According to the investigation, during May and June 2022, threatening with physical violence, the Russian military forced the employees of the company in the occupied Vasylivka district to load wheat onto vehicles without license plates and marked with the letter “Z” [this letter is used by the Russian army and Russian occupying forces].

The Russians stole more than 1,200 tons of grain from the enterprise, shipping it off in an unknown direction.

Also, on June 8-9, 2022, Russian troops armed with automatic weapons stole almost 500 tons of sunflower seeds from the warehouses of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Nesteriantsi in the Polohy district.
