Russian invaders take 9,500 Ukrainian books out of libraries in temporarily occupied Donetsk region

Russians continue to destroy everything Ukrainian in the temporarily occupied territories, including Ukrainian literature, Ukraine’s national resistance center reports.
“In the best traditions of the Nazis, the enemy is trying to destroy the consciousness of the population in the temporarily occupied lands. However, in the occupied lands of Donetsk region, 9.5 thousand books were taken from libraries,” the statement reads.
According to the National Resistance Center, Russians import their ‘literature’ instead. In March 2023 alone, 80,000 Russian books were brought to Luhansk region.
