Russian invaders took away all the valuable exhibits from Mariupol’s museums

Russian invaders took away all the valuable exhibits from Mariupol museums. Among them are original paintings by famous artists, the Mariupol City Council reported.

“Bombed and empty museums of Mariupol: the Russian invaders took all the valuable exhibits out of the city. The Nazis looted in the same way in World War II,” the city council emphasizes.

The Local History and Art Museums were deprived of their collections, which are the cultural heritage of the city and region. The buildings of the institutions were destroyed.

Among other things, the Russian invaders stole the original paintings of Arkhyp Kuindzhi and Ivan Aivazovskyi, unique icons, and historical exhibits.
