Russian invaders trying to mobilize residents of temporarily occupied areas in the south of Ukraine

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated in his video address that Russia had begun ‘mobilization’ in the occupied territories of the south of Ukraine.

“They [the Russians — ed.] are trying to recruit residents of the south of our country — that is, from the temporarily occupied areas, in addition to their so-called ‘mobilization’ in certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts [regions].”

According to the Ukrainian President, this feverish activity by the aggressors testifies first of all to their insecurity.
