Russian military strategy has now evolved in an effort to pressure Ukraine into territorial concessions

Russia has now modified its combat strategy to pressure Ukraine into territorial concessions. “Russia’s strategy has shifted. It is currently using more potent cruise missiles to strike our cities. Why? Because it turned out that the Russians are not very skilled fighters from a military standpoint,” explained Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

He pointed out that the Russians changed the conception of war: to incite widespread terror in Ukraine, frighten people, and persuade Ukraine’s leadership to give in to Russian demands.
