Russian missile attack damaged three educational institutions and residential buildings in Khmelnytskyi

On the morning of Feb. 18, 2023, Russia launched four Kalibr cruise missiles over Ukraine; two of them were destroyed by Ukraine’s air defense.
As a result of the attack, objects in Khmelnytskyi were damaged. “There are three damaged educational institutions and about ten multi-story residential buildings, about half a thousand windows were destroyed, some equipment was damaged, and one private vehicle was damaged. Two people were wounded,” Khmelnytskyi Major Oleksandr Symchyshyn told Ukrainian television.
Also, according to Ukraine’s Enterprise National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom,” two Russian missiles flew over the South Ukrainian NPP. Energoatom states that they flew dangerously close to a nuclear facility.
