Russian missile hit transport infrastructure in Lviv region, casualties reported

According to the Head of Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, a transport infrastructure facility was hit by Russia’s missile strike on Lviv region. Reportedly, five people were injured.

“Regarding last night’s missile strikes on Lviv region, I’m sharing all the information that I can:

Between 10.45 pm and 10.55 pm last night [on June 1, 2022], railway infrastructure in Stryi and Sambir districts was attacked. The attack has affected rail tracks and level crossings.

Throughout the night, Ukrzaliznytsia [Ukrainian Railways] and explosives specialists have been working on repairing the damage from the attack; the work continues. We hope that we will be able to fix those level crossings soon,” Kozytskyi reported.
