Russian shelling hit a power line at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant

National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine — Energoatom — says Russian shelling hit a power line at its Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in the southeast of Ukraine, which is temporarily occupied by Russia.

Energoatom informed that a high-voltage power line at the power plant had been hit by Russian shelling on August 5, 2022, but the power plant still worked, and no radioactive discharges were detected.
