Russian troops are deliberately destroying hospitals in Luhansk region — Ukrainian Ombudsman

“The region is constantly under attack by the Russian army. All medical facilities were destroyed and damaged.

Severodonetsk Hospital has been under fire for several days. Last time, according to the Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhii Haidai, the Russians fired about 10 shells at it within a few hours. Despite extremely dangerous working conditions, the hospital continues to provide medical care to the wounded.

Before the war, medical care was provided to about 300 patients, now only to 100.

Russian occupying forces violate the rights of Ukrainians to life and medical care guaranteed by the Hague and Geneva Conventions,” the Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova stated.
