Russian troops are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense in the area of Izium

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invasion forces are trying to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the area of Izium and establish full control over the city of Mariupol, as well as making attempts to improve their tactical position in the Mykolaiv direction.
In the Donetsk and Tavriya operational districts, the enemy is carrying out artillery and mortar shelling in most areas, as well as continuing assault operations in the city of Mariupol, conducting airstrikes, and trying to capture the central part of the city.
In the South Buh direction, the Russians once again tried to establish control over the village of Oleksandrivka, with no gains. They lost up to a company tactical group.
The Russian invaders continued to fire artillery at Novovorontsovka, Marianske, Novohryhorivka, and Shevchenkove.
Due to significant sanitary losses in terms of personnel and equipment, the invaders deployed military hospitals and repair centers for military equipment in the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. At the same time, given the constant influx of WIAs, they lack qualified medical personnel. In addition, the enemy has issues with stocks of medicines that are almost impossible to replenish. Repair centers are forced to work around the clock in the absence of a stable supply of spare parts and units.
More repair crews are arriving from Russia to Kharkiv region by rail.
In the settlements of the Melitopol district, Zaporizhzhia region, the Russians are raiding households, IDing locals, and searching for vehicles and food. Ongoing interrogations aim at identifying former law enforcement and military servicemen.
In the town of Nova Kakhovka, the invaders use the capacity of local printing houses to prepare campaign materials (brochures, booklets, posters, forms) for the sham “referendum on the establishment of the Kherson People’s Republic.”
Measures to forcibly mobilize the population in the temporarily occupied territories are intensifying in Luhansk region.
In the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed eight enemy attacks, destroyed four main battle tanks, eight armored units, and seven military trucks.
13 air targets were downed over the past day: three warplanes, a helicopter, five UAVs, and four cruise missiles.
