Russian troops fired on 21 settlements in the east of Ukraine on May 31, 2022

“On May 31, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on 21 settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions,” as stated in the report of the Joint Forces Task Force of Ukraine.

Russian war criminals destroyed and damaged 46 civilian objects, including 40 high-rise and private buildings, an art school (Hirske), a kindergarten (in the village of Yarova), and the farm buildings of the Proletarii plant (Lysychansk).

The police station building in Avdiivka was damaged. Over the past day [on May 31, 2022], rescuers evacuated 13,907 people from combat areas.
