Russian troops have destroyed a 19th-century wooden church in Zhytomyr region
“The church was built in 1862 and has been cynically destroyed by the Russian invaders,” a member of the Chief Council of the Ukrainian Association for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture Olha Rutkowska said.
In her words, the wooden church on a stone foundation was an architectural monument of national importance, listed under protection number 108.
