Russian troops were shelling the Dnipropetrovsk region with MLRS and barrel artillery all night
Russian troops have shelled the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, using MLRS and barrel artillery, for the whole night on August 21, 2022, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko said on Telegram.
“We have been shelled all night long… Two districts — Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih — suffered from enemy attacks again,” he wrote.
According to Reznichenko, the enemy struck the Nikopol district five times. Russians fired 25 shells from barrel artillery at Nikopol. The shelling caused a huge fire at one of the enterprises, destroying equipment there. In the city, a school was damaged, one house was destroyed, and about 20 other buildings were damaged too. Gas pipelines and power lines are broken. More than 3,000 Nikopol citizens remain without electricity.
